The Thistle Birmingham Edgbaston is a striking modern hotel designed as a circular tower, and is located one mile from the city center. Birmingham International airport is located 12 miles from the hotel, a drive of approximately 30 minutes. Skyrail links the airport directly to Birmingham International Train Station and the National Exhibition Centre (NEC). It runs every two minutes from Terminal 1. Black cabs provide a 24 hour service from the official rank outside the airport passenger terminals. Local buses link the airport to the surrounding district.
From A38 follow signs for International Convention Centre (ICC), Broad Street. On Broad Street continue towards Five Ways Island. Take underpass which leads onto Hagley Road. The hotel is situated one mile on the right.
