The Classical Makedonia Palace is a nine storey modern hotel located by the Aegean Sea, 500 metres from the White Tower and the Esplanade. The 260 guestrooms feature contemporary decor in brown and beige, with leather, glass and wood details. All open onto balconies and include satellite television with premium channels, high speed and dial up Internet connections (surcharge), CD/cassette players, direct dial phones, electronic safes, minibars and slippers. Bathrooms come with showers, telephones, robes and complimentary toiletries.

Transport to the city is either by taxi or by public bus No.78. A cheap and extensive bus system operates throughout the town. Taxis are also plentiful and inexpensive, but traffic is often very heavy during rush hour.
Driving directions: From Makedonia Airport, turn left onto Georgikis Scholis, then continue towards the town centre. Follow Vasilisis Olgas and Vasileos Georgiou to the White Tower and turn left to the hotel.
