Location. City Hotel is a modern hotel situated in the centre of the old city, on a road off Tsmiski, the popular shopping and business street. Makedonia International Airport is 12 kilometres away and takes around 20 minutes to reach by car.
Hotel Features. Guests are greeted by multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby, and cocktails, Greek coffees and aromatic teas are served in the bar. Two lifts connect the eight floors and secure parking is available for those arriving by car (surcharge).
City Hotel Restaurant is a modern restaurant decorated in cool white and cream tones. The restaurant serves an American buffet breakfast and an � la carte menu for lunch and dinner. Room service is also available between 7 a.m. and 1 a.m.
Guestrooms. The 125 air conditioned guestrooms are located on eight floors accessible by lift. All have simple modern decor with light wood furnishings and carpeted floors. Amenities include cable television with pay movies, direct dial phones, wireless Internet (surcharge), minibars, tea and coffee making facilities, and safes. Bathrooms are complete with hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.
Expert Tip. The White Tower of Thessaloniki dates back to the 14th century and was used by the Ottomans as a fort, garrison and a prison. It now stands as a symbol of the city on the waterfront boulevard, Nikis (Victory) Street, and is a popular tourist attraction.
